Hi my name is Kim Ivie. I have been teaching for 27 years and 24 years teaching Kindergarten. I have been teaching here at Westwind for 15 years!  I am married to Johnny for 28 years this past July!  I have two children. Noah graduated from FHS in 2021 and going to Texas Tech and he is in the Goin' Band drumline.  Hayden is in 11th grade at FHS and loves basketball and plays the trumpet. My philosophy in teaching is to treat your child like I want my child treated. That drives all my thinking! Whether it is academics or behavior!  I want my students to start to read and enjoy school!
