I am Jenna Martinez, and I am looking forward to working with you to help your student grow personally, socially, emotionally, and academically this school year. This will be my first year in 1st grade at Westwind. My prior five years of experience have been in 2nd grade at North Ridge. I graduated with my BSIS in Early Childhood Education with a Psychology minor from Lubbock Christian University in 2018. In May 2023, I graduated with my M. Ed. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University. I hold certifications in EC-6, ESL, and GT. I have been married to my husband, Luis, for 5 years. He teaches 4th grade at North Ridge. We have a 2-year-old son, Eli, and a 5-year-old dachshund mix, Rupert. I love to crochet, play board games, travel, listen to and play music (alt rock and pop punk are my favorites!), and spend time with family and friends.

9:45-10:45: Tiger Time (intervention, enrichment)

10:45-11:00: Recess

11:00-11:30: Lunch

11:35-11:45: RLA continued

11:45-1:15: Math

1:15-2:15: Specials

2:15: Snack

2:15-3:05: Science/Social Studies

3:05: Clean up and pack up

3:15: Dismissal
