Westwind Elementary PTA sponsored a Grill and Chill Thursday night for students, teachers and their families. Westwind Tigers gathered to eat together, play together, and serve together.

The Texas Tech University Masked Rider came to support Westwind and provide a photo opportunity for everyone in attendance.  There were bounce houses, a snow cone truck, games and dinner provided by Sonic. 

The entrance fee for this event was a single can of food for the Student Council Food Closet to give back to students in need. Westwind families showed up with bags of food instead of just one can. It was a great event for our Westwind Tigers and the Food Closet is off to a great start for this school year.
