Frenship ISD students and staff came together across multiple campuses to support the annual Miracle Pennies fundraiser, benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network and UMC Children’s Hospital. Through a variety of campus-led activities, the district raised more than $24,000 to support children across the South Plains.
Jessica Hantz, a life skills teacher at Bennett Elementary School, has been named the May Teacher on the Rise recipient, recognized for her dedication to serving special needs students and the positive, lasting impact she makes in the lives of her students each day.
Last week, several Frenship elementary schools received dollhouses designed and built by Memorial High School students. The interior design and construction students collaborated to make the dollhouses, allowing the students to explore the professional relationship between construction and interior designers.
