Frenship High School Spanish Club Honors Hispanic Heritage Month with Festive Celebration

The Frenship High School Spanish Club will be hosting their annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Saturday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m. in the FHS Cafeteria. The event is free and is open to the public to attend.  There will be a variety of games and crafts for families to enjoy.

"We are most looking forward to seeing people come and enjoy the crafts and games that are shared in the Hispanic community," said Karla Albarez, Frenship High School Spanish Teacher. "We are extremely proud of the students. They have shown heart and dedication to making this year the best for the Spanish club."

Frenship High School Spanish Club Member, Citlaly Gomez is excited about the Celebration and hopes that attendees will be able to learn more about Hispanic culture.

“I am most looking forward to expressing the Hispanic culture of different Latin American countries to the children attending. It’s going to be a great experience for children and families to come and have fun,” said Gomez.

The Spanish Club is passionate about educating others and spending quality time together as a community.

“Events like this are important because there is so much diversity here and we learn to appreciate the differences and to come together as a community, we realize how much we have in common,” said Albarez.

Great work, FHS Spanish Club!
