Student Council Induction

The Westwind Student Council was inducted into service today. Mrs. Chapman charged the students with their task of leadership. Fourth and Fifth Grade leaders and representatives accepted the challenge of leading with integrity and great character. This is Westwind's second year to have a student council. Westwind's first student council president, Benjamin Rios, was the guest speaker. He challenged these leaders to lead responsibly and take this position seriously because what they do this year will follow them for years to come.
