I have been teaching since 1995. I started my teaching career in Phoenix, AZ teaching 2nd and 3rd grades. I moved back to Texas to be closer to family in 2006. After teaching middle school science for 11 years, I felt called to go back to elementary and inspire the love of science in my 5th graders as they prepare for their middle school journey. My husband and I have 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren. We enjoy travel, music, living in the country, and spending time with family and friends.
