I joined Frenship ISD in 2026, but I have been teaching since 2012. Teaching has always been my passion, and I have always loved being in First Grade! My goal is to create a safe, warm, and loving environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Harding University in 2011 and my Master of Education in Language and Literacy from Texas Tech University in 2014. Throughout my career, I have taught in both Texas and New Mexico. My Texas teaching certification covers Early Childhood through 5th Grade and includes an ESL endorsement. I also hold a New Mexico teaching certificate for Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Evan, and our children, Barnett (10) and Kylie-Jo (3). Our family also includes four dogs: Wallace, Biscuit, Sophie, and Stella. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and going for walks.
