My name is Haley Kirk and I am excited to serve you in the 2024-2025 school year as the Assistant Principal. My journey in education began right here at Westwind, where I taught 5th grade and most recently served as the Data Intervention Specialist. I have had the honor of being selected as Westwind Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2018, Frenship Teacher of the Year in 2020, and Region 17 Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2021. Returning to Westwind as a teacher and leader, having once been a student here, has been a full-circle moment that deeply connects me to our school’s mission. Westwind holds a special place in my heart, and I am honored to see it grow and thrive. 

The students, staff, and community at Westwind are exceptional, and I am eager to continue building strong relationships with everyone. As I step into the role of Assistant Principal, my primary goal is to empower all learners and foster an inclusive, supportive environment. I am excited to collaborate with parents and staff to make this school year the best yet!
