My name is Haley Kirk, and I am proud to serve Westwind Elementary as Assistant Principal. Westwind has been part of my story for many years, from attending Westwind as a student to beginning my career here as a 5th grade teacher, serving as Data Intervention Specialist, and now having the opportunity to lead and serve the campus that helped shape me.

As an educator and leader, I believe our greatest impact comes from investing in people. I am passionate about creating a school where students feel known, challenged, and empowered; families feel welcomed and valued as partners in their child's education; and teachers feel supported and encouraged as they continue to grow in their craft. I believe in setting high expectations while providing the support, tools, and encouragement people need to reach them.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Brooks, and our daughter, Millie, along with our two dogs. I love spending time with family and friends, working on projects around our home, and enjoying the everyday moments that come with raising a young family.

Having the opportunity to serve the school that played such an important role in my own story is a privilege. I am proud of the work happening at Westwind and look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and serve alongside our students, families, and staff.
