My name is Haley Kirk, and I am thrilled to serve Westwind Elementary for my second year as Assistant Principal in the 2025–2026 school year! My journey in education began right here at Westwind, where I taught 5th grade and later served as the Data Intervention Specialist. Along the way, I was honored to be named Westwind Rookie Teacher of the Year in 2018, Frenship Teacher of the Year in 2020, and Region 17 Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2021.

Returning to Westwind as both a leader and a former student is a true full-circle moment for me. This school holds a special place in my heart, and I am passionate about continuing to see it grow, thrive, and remain a place where every student feels valued and empowered.

Outside of school, I am a proud wife to Brooks and a new mom to our sweet daughter, Millie. Becoming a parent has deepened my belief in the importance of strong school-home partnerships, and I look forward to working side by side with our incredible families to make this a year of learning, growth, and joyful memories.

The students, staff, and community at Westwind are truly exceptional, and I am eager to build on the relationships we’ve formed while creating even more opportunities for success. Together, I know we will make 2025–2026 our best year yet!
